The Butchers


Our Limousin Cross cattle graze in the sunny banks of the Shibden Valley and Southowram during the summer months and for winter, they shelter near the farm and adjoining barns. We mature our beef for 21 days to ensure a succulent and full flavour.

Our Yorkshire lamb is raised in the open fields around Holywell Green. We sell a whole range of different cuts as well as selling half and full lambs.

We source our Pork from Holywell Green and our Rare Breed Pork from Shelf. Our butchers can advise you on the best cuts and cooking recommendations. While visiting the farmshop, why not try some of our fantastic sausages, made on the premises, daily. We will often season some of our pork steaks with mouth-watering seasoning or make a stir-fry which can go straight into your wok!

We have fresh chickens for sale which are a a little special if we do say so ourselves. Raised on a diet of corn in the fields around Southowram, our Corn Fed Yorkshire Chickens taste delicious. We also sell chicken breasts and other pieces of chicken should you be looking for something a little different.

The Ingfield Farm bakery, provide all extensive range of cooked meats. Try a thick slice of our Home Roast Ham on our freshly baked, crusty bread with a spot of whole grain mustard. Champion!
